The story begins like this: two brothers and a war over a crown. The year was 1772. There were two sons of the King of Great Britain, one legit and the other a bastard whom the King favored. The bastard blackmailed the father, threatening to reveal an affair that would destroy his rule. To appease the bastard son, the King gave the unknown land of America to the son, granting him complete control of the people there. The American Revolution was a successful cover story that allowed the Americans to think that they had a functioning “democracy”. What a clueless society. What no one knew was that the bastard living in a castle just north of New York City would continue the legacy of a totalitarian rule for years to come. With complete control, an unforeseen succession of gods would drive American politics to modern day presidency. It was an invisible monarchy that would continue until the death of America…at least, that was the plan.
Flash forward several centuries and Alexander Williams, son of George and Margaret Williams, is coming-of-age to inherit the crown. Unlike the monarchs before him, Alex possesses a secret dream of living an ordinary life. In accordance with this make believe ordinary life comes his dream bride: Annalise Lancaster, the President of the United States’ daughter. But such an outlandish dream is not easily attained, especially for a son of the Secret Monarchy with an unwelcome visitor, from heaven or from hell, residing in the shadows of his mind.

555 In Search for truth

Laura D'Amore

Do you believe in miracles? In this short book which is my personal diary of the accounts which occurred within me that changed my brain circuitry and chemistry which allowed me to access transcendent levels of awareness. The supernatural event I experienced cannot be explained by natural or scientific laws, so I believe it to be the work of a divine agency. Deep spiritual meditation opened my eyes and brought my spiritual body to life. This caused a presence inside of me to become apparent in a way that sounds unbelievable. The events that have happened to me are mysterious and a miracle in themselves. God as we know is a mysterious wonder, all powerful and knowing. There are miracles every day, and my story is one of them.

The Optimistic Goldfish

Steve Wickens

This is my first brand new collection of poems for many years. It was refreshing for me to write new poetry without having to rely on my past work. There are 40 poems in all and are arguably lighter than what I wrote previously. Of course my thoughts about self worth and religion are still present in my writing, but there are several light poems that just reflect silliness and hopefully will create smiles. Poetry is a wondrous thing because it is a form of writing that can attract debates and discussion. It depends on the interpretation. These new poems are a gift to myself. I hope you enjoy them.
