Through a series of peculiar and confusing dreams, the moderately successful author Bryan Azalea encounters an exciting and radiant woman named Charlotte. She turns out to be work-related involved in a confidential development project with unclear ramifications in several different industries, all of which are at the absolute forefront of the scientific world. In their efforts to investigate these classified, presumably unethical and suspiciously illegal activities, they gradually become aware of fairly astonishing secrets.
